About Us
Ras Boss, established in 2014 and a pioneer in the cannabis art space, is a family brand that specializes in one-of-a-kind handmade artwork and jewelry using REAL buds and leaves, set with gold and gemstones.
Founded by Chelsea, mother, designer, artist, and Daniel, father, lifelong farmer and entrepreneur, each piece is a work of art, showcasing the natural beauty of the plant in a way that has never been seen before.

Through our work, we strive to honor the Creator and present cannabis in its true and captivating light, igniting meaningful conversations and challenging preconceived negative connotations.
The Journey of Ras Boss
2014
Roots
Ras Boss first debuted the initial pieces - made with real leaves, resin and wood - in 2014 during California’s Prop 215 era, prior to legalization. The foundation of the brand is rooted in the natural expression and simplicity of the work, honoring both Creation and the Creator, connecting people from all backgrounds. From the outset, the focus was never solely on the pieces themselves, but rather their role in sparking positive connections and conversations around the plant and plant medicine.

2016
The Golden Bud
After nearly a year of developing the craft, the first batch of Ras Boss gold buds came to life and made their debut at the world-renowned Emerald Cup in California. The very first bud iconically graced the cover of High Times Magazine, thanks to none other than Bobs youngest son, Damian Marley.

2019
The First Statue
The progression from gold buds led to the vision of preserving a full branch/small plant. This endeavor challenged every aspect of the skills learned and developed over the years, requiring the expertise and patience needed to work with all of the delicate materials simultaneously. Just a few years after the gold buds were released, the plant statue made its debut at the Emerald Cup in 2019.

2020
Leaf Evolution
The evolution of Ras Boss leaf designs began years prior to their official launch. Before the brand, when Chelsea was introduced to cannabis plants by Danny, she began developing ideas and designs that were only able to be brought to life years later once advancements in our craft expanded.

2021
Special Collections
With the same vision of respectfully representing nature’s gifts, we began working with other alternative plant medicines.

Now
Innovation
We are consistently in the lab working to improve our craft and elevate the impact of the work. Currently we are building avenues to further community collaboration and facilitate general educational outreach.
